College of Commissioner Science


Westmoreland-Fayette Council, BSA is proud to host a College of Commissioner
Science at Camp Conestoga, located in Laurel Hill State Park in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania.

At this event, we will be offering courses to complete the Bachelors and the Masters of
Commissioner Science degrees.  Participants will have the opportunity to choose one of the two tracks and complete the chosen degree in one day.


Cost for the event is $20.00 per participant.  This includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and all course materials.


Bachelor of Commissioner Science

Topics include: Core Concepts of Commissioner Service, Linking District Resources, Resolving Common Unit Issues,  Coaching Leaders, Mining Internet Resources, A
Servant’s Heart, and more.


Masters of Commissioner Science

Topics include:  Service to Units at Risk,  Resolving Critical Unit Issues, Mentoring Skills, Serving Newly Formed Units, Good Commissioners Need bot Head and Heart, Recruiting the 21st Century Volunteer, and more.
