Today we will be working on Requirement 6 of our Build My Own Hero Belt Loop.
For Requirement 6, you will need to Create your own Superhero. What kinds of things will your Superhero be able to do? What will they look like? Page 4 of your requirement checklist gives you an opportunity to answer several questions about your Superhero. Once you have compelted this page, share it with a family member or friend. What would their Superhero be like?
Thursday, June 18th
Today we will be working on Requirements 4 & 5 of the Build My Own Hero belt loop.
For Requirement 4, you will need to learn about a real-life hero from another country who is helping to make the world a better place. Work with a grown up to research real life heroes online. How are they making a difference?
For Requirement 5, you will need to learn about a Scout Hero. If you receive Boys’ Life Magazines, there are often stories about Scout Hero’s in there. If you do not, there are many articles that can be found by clicking this link: https://boyslife.org/scouts-in-action/
Wednesday, June 17th
Today we will be working on Requirements 1 & 2 of the Build My Own Hero belt loop.
Talk about the following with a family member or friend, and record your answers on page 2 of your requirement checklist packets:
What does it mean to be a HERO? What kinds of things do Heroes do? Who can be a hero? (top box on your page)
How can citizens in our community be a hero? Do they need to wear a cape or can they be in other uniforms or clothes?
